Restacking Opportunity

Posted by: Gavin B on 28 March 2018

Hi Folks

This weekend's project is to repaint the feature wall in the lounge. This involves dismantling the system to access the wall. This gives me an opportunity to reconsider the stacking order of my system. I'd like your thoughts, please. My system is located on two stacks of six Isoblue shelves.

(My attempts to post an image from Imgur have failed so far!!)

The stacking order is...

LEFT: CDS3, Space, 252, 2Qute Dac, Space, 300 Head

RIGHT: ND5XS, Headline, Headline PSU, 555PS, Supercap, 300PS

The current issue is that the cables for the 300 run along the floor albeit on some polystyrene bits.

Should I move the 300PS above the 555 and Supercap?

@Dark Bear recently recommended having a space under the 300 head unit - I could do that too / instead.

Both of these options would allow the 300 burndies to hang a little more freely, but it would mean they 'cross' the CDS3/555 and 252/Supercap burndies.

Any suggestions?

Got sorted with Imgur! (Fingers crossed)

Any thoughts on ordering?

Move the 300 Head Unit up a shelf?

Move the 300 PS above the super cap and 555?
