Hi all
I've just come into possession of a secondhand pair of SBLs. They arrived in the original packaging but the bass driver phase plugs were loose.
Can I simply glue them back in (if so, with what?), or is something more involved ... uh ... involved?
If the solution various by bass driver type, how can I tell the difference?
Any help would be much appreciated

I had this happen to one of my Credo drive units. I ordered a phase plug kit via my dealer. I managed to remove the old glue residue with 'lighter fuel' then clean with Isopropyl alcohol before re-sticking on the new double sided rings, worked a treat.

I don't think I was clear in my original post; it's not so much that the 2 halves of the phase plugs are coming apart (although that's true too) - the main issue is that the plugs have come loose from the bass driver altogether.
For the 2-halves issue, it seems like a clean & superglue should do the trick?
For the 'completely fallen out of the bass drivers' issue, my dealer is going to consult Naim on Tuesday & see what they say ...

"Don't glue!" - got it :-)
Will bide my time and get this right; want to avoid major repairs / replacements if possible...

Well, to be fair, it may be that glueing is what you have to do - you didn't say whether the drivers were Naim ones (later SBLs or early ones upgraded) or Mordaunt -Short units (earlier SBLs). I thought it was the end pieces, in which case, definitely don't glue back, rather use the repair kit from Naim. However, now you say that the entire plug is loose, it makes me think these may be early Mordaunt-Short drivers, in which case it may well be that they should be carefully glued back. However, Naim should know for sure what to do here.
