Anybody else see this?

I've seen it now, and no I don't. The music coming from that, admittedly less that ideal, set up is probably beyond anything in the average home. Naim is gaining new blood with the Muso products, and the Uniti range. Many of them will be new to proper hifi, and will learn over time how to get the best from it. Snobbery does the 'high-end' industry no favours at all.
Let's get the youngsters introduced to decent music reproduction in the home, any way other than smart phones and buds. This is all good. If this chap's interest in proper music reproduction is ignited then he will want to optimise things and get more from his system. Possibly one day buying a bigger and better Naim system. Youngsters seeing this kind of thing on social media can only be good for the future of serious HiFi.
That Atom looks really cool to me and I am an old git.
Its cool with me.
True, but even putting acoustics aside, I really want to level up the speakers for aesthetics alone.
The furniture would look modern in 1960, wall units hung on ladders -
I'm surprised no one's criticising their choice of speakers!
This is what real people (as opposed to forum members) do with their HiFi folks. It fits around their lives, not the other way around!
We are the wierdos here.

What? Really? How does that work then? That's crazy talk!
Perhaps the listener was Sloth from The Goonies

I'd probably rather spend an evening with the owner of that system than the owner of the likes of
a little too like -
But Adam, just hang on a moment. That appears to be STACKED JBL4343s -Phwoar!!
On second thoughts, you’re probably right...
It's about compromise and domestic harmony. Even us Naim Nuts have to make a few compromises in the position of our equipment, especially if we have larger speakers. For example; wife, "yes they do sound better two feet out from the wall, but if we want to keep the rest of our furniture they can't come out that far". If they are happy and have an enjoyable, well used music system that draws them into the performance, well, that's what it's all about! I'd level the speakers just for my own aesthetics sake, but hey, if it sounds better than their previous setup even if it's not optimal then that's OK. Maybe they like 'em at different levels, maybe it does sound OK.
