It arrived today, finally.Seems to be very, very nice. The lens is the same of the photo, but I also purchased an original Sony adapter that allows me using my old Minolta A mount lenses.Focusing is a lightning strike.I'm getting back to "nice photos"now with some new pics.Ciao.
Cool. Don’t forget to post.
I will certainly.
Nice - I am into Canon, but Sony have delivered some nice products in the last years. I am waiting for the next big step from Canon to move from my Canon 5DM2 to the latest and greatest. I expect something to show up after September Photokina Show.
Me too am Canon, like in too many Canon bits. It would be hard (expensive) to move brand because of the lens mount, it kinda locks you in to brand loyalty for life. I've looked around from time to time but don't see anything that would make it worthwhile, When I'm forced to give up birding & the regular africa bush trips, then maybe I might sell it all & go for a do-it-all something, & something like that Sony might be on the short list.

Hi Mike - I'm a Nikon guy, and like you say, I'm kinda locked in to the glass, though my D750 ticks nearly all my boxes, so no great desire to jump ship to another manufacturer at this stage.
I do however have a Sony RX10 II - bought primarily for its 4K video chops - and can recommend this as a do-it-all bridge camera. The latest Mk IV version has an amazing lens, the only thing I'd say that this is still a 1" sensor, so if your used to an FX sensor, you're going to have to accept its limitations, in terms of noise and bokeh.
Hi Duncan, I used a RX10-II last summer for a walk around a bird reserve. Yes its impressive, I liked the spec & performance of the 24-200mm f/2.8 lens & its video ability. Getting enthusiastic over a bridge camera is a big roadblock for me as someone who regularly uses 400mm & with extenders. Its owner used my EOS.5 + 100/400, he was also impressed but did complain about a shoulder/neck ache !!! wimp.
Looks great, Fabio.
Thank you Christopher.
Hi Fabio, congratulations! Looks a great new kit. What’s the lens? I find a new camera gives my photography a boost and I hope you enjoy using it.
That's a great camera Fabio, congratulations!
I'm looking forward to seeing what you see!
Hi Chris, lens is my first zoom ever. It's a 24-105 f4 Sony G series.I always had prime lenses, but this one is working very well.Very good sinergy with the body camera.I demoed an Zeiss 24-70 f4 at my Sony/Leica retailer but I found it was not so Sharp on the corners at some focal lenght:not that sharp you would expect from Zeiss.Hi Mr Fjeld,I hope i will upload something good...!
