Astell & kern AK70 mk2.

Just purchased A & K 70mk 2.  It's amazing in car, pluged into your Naim Uniti or just on the move. I have one question tho to any one who has a one. I had an old iPod classic which has been great for all the years it has worked & it had about 28000 tracks on uncompressed Apple lossless. The iPod was 120gb. Now I have put a 256 gb micro sd into my A& K 70 & started to load up my tunes but got half way thru the alphabet in my library to about M and it says memory full?.....?  I know there will be a straight answer to this but I am an idiot sorry, can anyone advise? Thanks I know it's a not a Naim product but I do use it thru my Uniti.

Ridds

Might be best in HiFi corner rather than Music Room

I have the same device, loaded my large collection easily onto a card-excess of 100gb.

Have you checked the SD card is not faulty? Maybe pop it in your PC and see if it does show a true 256Gb. You might format it again perhaps?

Check your card on your computer.  Lots of counterfeit 256GB cards around, some are otherwise indistinguishable from the real things. If you bought for a bargain price then the likelihood is it's bogus. There are some programs that will allow you to test this properly to see the real capacity of your card.
