You can only get the FLAC stream through RP apps at the moment, although there is a workaround solution using LMS to send the stream over UPnP if you can be bothered to set it up. Because of the slightly unusual way the stream has been implemented, RP cannot supply a URL for it in the way you would usually do for iRadio.

Listening to RP and the owner mentioned that lossless stream would soon be available on its webplayer.

Would this be enough to get it working on the Naim Streamers?

I don’t think so. You can already play RP FLAC on a computer using their app, so I can’t see that playing it from a web browser would make it any easier to send the stream to a Naim player.

The highest rate stream on the RP web site right now is 192k.

If they did put a flac stream on the web then my QNAP NAS has a browser that connects to my TV which then plays through my Nova so that would be a way round it. However Bill did say they would put flac on "other devices" so maybe we'll get a flac stream  on Naim's Choice eventually.

I did check this with Bill a while back and he responded that they had no immediate plans to make it available on Naim / ituner devices unfortunately, that can change of course

I’m hoping they will make their apps work through Chromecast, then at least the new streamers will play it without any of these fiddly workarounds.
