upgrade mostly succeeded but shown error in comms in firmware file

I have an NDX and a UnitiQute2 and after some fiddling about with drivers (never had a problem with previous upgrades) managed to get both to update. Both report a problem during the Streamer Update saying communication issue with a file "SeDMP3_v14171.73_xxx_Tidal_MR-NP-Compat.bcd". Repeated the install and same thing every time. When rebooted the streamers both report 4.6 firmware and seem to run fine. I am not using Tidal as I prefer spotify if anything and I do not have the input ticked. Not sure what the issue is though and what I should do about it?

Which firmware did you upgrade from? The reason I ask is that if you updated from earlier than 4.4 the update to 4.6 doesn't show Tidal in the list of inputs. I have discussed with Naim and the solution is to now install the 4.4 update and then do 4.6 again.

Upgraded from 4.4 but can see the tidal input, just didn't have it selected. so not sure what I am missing and what the error actually was?

Well if you upgraded from 4.4 the I don't know what to suggest.

You could ignore it or you could ring Naim support. But I suggest ignore it....
