Can I access MQA content?

At the risk of taking the op's thread on a tangent, can I ask about my Unitiqute 2? I have just started a Tidal trial after using Spotify for the last few years. Now I have Tidal I have noticed that I am only able to access content at CD quality. Is there a way of listening to MQA via my Unitiqute 2? I am currently using an iPad for Tidal/ Naim apps.

If you select an MQA track on Tidal, the UnitiQute will play it, but because it doesn’t have a DAC that supports MQA, you will not hear any of the differeces/subective improvements that MQA might bring. There are workarounds that could give you some or all of the changes that MQA offers, but not using Tidal natvely with the Naim app.

Thanks Chrissu,

Having updated from 4.3 through to 4.6 and swapping from Spotify to Tidal the difference is very noticeable even through the Unitiqute. I must upgrade to an NDX ( I already bypass the internal amp)!
