Chrissu, there are quite a few threads here on this topic. Suggest you do a search. I’ve forgotten the technical details - I just have it working. I’m running Roon on a fanless pc and I bought a product called Sonore Upnp bridge from a company called Small Green Computer, to make the connection to the NDS.
That Sonore product is no longer available, but what is now available from them is Sonictransporter i5, which has Roon pre-installed (subject to paying the Roon sub.) and which can make the connection to the NDS. (So my 2 boxes could now be one under this approach). A bit of head banging is required, but you can get there, and it is definitely worth it.
All this is based on components networked via a switch, and in my case, the switch connected to my router using Ethernet over mains (Tplink), which some folk here despise, but I don’t really have a choice.
Hope this is understandable!
