CDS3

Reading somewhere that there won't be any more parts available to service a certain Naim cd-player, I was wondering if you still can get a CDS3 serviced. And can you connect a XPS DR power supply to a CDS3?
Maybe best for you not to get a CDS3 after all, in light of all of these insurmountable obstacles in the way such as having to drive 35 miles or paying someone for the service they have provided.

I'm very grateful for the advice here because all this service stuff is new to me. I'm going to contact Naim about this. Will make up my mind after I hear back from them.
Drikus, you are talking about owning one of the best CD players ever manufactured. The service will essentially make it good as new. Spend a little cash man and let the Naim dealer make a few Euros out of you. Or perhaps a bargain Denton or Marantz would do...

I've own a Lindemann 820S and a 825 so I'm good there, no need for a "Denton" or Marantz... I'm just looking for a complete Naim set. For instance, I was allowed by Lindemann to send in my 820S and 855 directly to them for service because there isn't a dealer in my area so pardon me for being surprised that Naim won't let you do this.
