Asset UPnP with old Mac Mini...

Posted by: easeback1 on 03 June 2018

I've put my old Mac Mini to work as a network storage device. But since the Mini only has 80Gb of internal storage, I then connected another external 250Gb drive.

The Mini's own HD works fine with Asset, but I can't get the external drive to appear in the UPnP menu via the Naim app.

Anyone know of a sneaky way to get this to work, or do I need to put a bigger internal HD in the Mini?

TIA

You need to add the directory of the music files on the external drive to the ‘Watched Folders’ in Asset configuration settings.
