Connecting iMac to Superuniti?

HI

Anyone using a Mac through their Naim equip?

Currently my study system is a Superuniti with Neat IOTA speakers on Iso Acoustics desk stands. This sits next to my 27 inch iMac, what would be the best way to connect the iMac to the Superuniti, there are a lot of interesting live concert videos on You Tube and it would be good to pipe the sound through the system occasionally.

The iMac has a combined miniToslink/3.5mm output socket and of course USB and Lightning sockets.

Presumably I would need something between the Mac and Superuniti if I use the USB or Lightning outputs?

Many thanks.

I would use the optical connection. You can’t use the USB input on the SU from a computer.

The best way is probably a USB to S/PDIF interface like the Schiit Eitr, the Mutec MC-3+ USB, the Sonore ultraDigital, etc. But you can start with a simple optical (Toslink) cable and this is going to be good enough for Youtube videos and the likes.
