Customising Presets in Naim App

Posted by: Simon Clifford-Smith on 15 June 2018

I was just wondering if it is possible to customise the Presets in the Naim App for Muso so that I can change the order. I can’t stand Spotify but it’s a pain to go to the 2nd presets page to select Tidal or Optical for Tv etc.

any help or suggestions would be most welcome.

kind regards,

Simon

I don't think you can do that Simon or at least I've just had a play and can't see  a way to do it. You could send a feature request to Naim using the in-app feedback....

You can certainly disable the ones you don’t use. That might help bring Tidal to the first page.

Can you? I don't think so...,

I haven't found a way of moving the icons but you can prevent the Spotify button (and any other inputs you don't use) from appearing.)

From the App, press the settings cog in the top right corner.

Select input settings

Select Spotify

Untick Input Enabled.

Hopefully it will be banished.

That doesn’t apply to the mu-so or Qb. You cannot get rid of those you don’t use. It would be great if you could.

As HH says.

The old streamers allow you to disable any input so that it disappears from the app home page. I find it irritating that while most inputs can be removed on my Atom, there are a couple that you can’t get rid of. It all seems a bit hit and miss.

Hello All, Please ignore my last post above. The post should read:-

"Hi Simon,

Thank you for your feedback - This has been passed forward to the software development team and is valuable for us to improve the app and our products in the future.

Kind Regards,
Naim Support"

I hope this helps, I feel it is quite encouraging (Hopefully I am not kidding myself)

Kind regards,

Simon
