Atom auto standby issue

Ok not sure what's going on here but I have odd behaviour with auto standby. When streaming auto standby works as it should, switches off after set time in app i not playing anything. However via analogue input it turns off. I had this on 2.3 but did not get it on 2.6 but now on 2.6.1 it's back. So can anyone else confirm this behaviours on their Atom, Nova or Star. I have put in a support request but that want get seen now until next week. For the record I use AV fixed volume on the input as it fed from my preouts of AV amp.
