I am guessing 8/9 year s old

I can't get to the serial number

Thanks

Is it like that on all sources?  If so, it may indicate that it needs some attention.

It's what the camera is for on your smartphone

If so on all sources: check the connectors...

If you're using an external power supply check got dry joints in the SNAICs, if not remove and replug the 'link plug'.

If still not good, may need attention as Richard says.

thanks

will try flatcap leads connections etc

So, does your Nait XS work properly without the FC then?

A good call from Huge; yes, check the connections, particularly if you have a flatcap in the loop. Just make sure you power down first - disconnecting or re-connecting a SNAIC while powered up can send a shrill squeak through the system that can easily take out a driver if you aren't careful.

Thanks I'll have to try and find the link plug which I haven't seen for 8-9 years or order another etc not going to be a quick resolution

Cheers Stephen

Your dealer might be able to lend you one from an XS2 or SN2 if finding yours proves impossible.

Found it... and same thing only trace of sound on one channel

I guess its a dead channel on the amp which is a surprise and a shame at the same time!
