Floorstanding speakers x Uniti Star... suggestions

Hi to everyone,

I'm moving to a new room so I can upgrade my speakers to bookshelf to floorstanding for my Uniti Star...... you can find my setup on profile page.

I like live, natural and musical sound, I'm looking for a slim/small floorstanding speaker (max 20-25 cm width), to be placed close to the rear wall, possibly stylish design (or available in laquered black or white colour), budget 2000-2500 euro on used market. I listen to jazz, blues and rock music in a medium room (around 20-25 sqm).

I’m running Totem Hawks on a UnitiCute 2 and NAP100 and the Star would hum those. Lovely full natural speakers and nice slim and elegant design. I’m upgrading to a Nova and Core and will run the Hawks off those and thenthink about h]going to Forests later on.

Before going to floorstanders try the Dynaudio special 40. I’ve recently purchased them to go with a Nova. They sounded better than a number of floorstanders I listened to. Well priced at £2,500.

I'm running PMC 25.23s on a Nova, 20cm wide, 30cm from rear wall. Lovely sound, it may be challenging to ifnd them at the right price as they're still pretty new, but the previous generation 20.23s are quite similar and will be in the right price range.

Try dynaudio excite X34 and X38. Very good with superuniti

Excites would be good and so would the Special 40s. I use Dyn Focus 260s with my Star and it’s a great match.
