supercap 2

Yup, no problem.  It's a straight swap in for your Hicap using the same SNAICs and connections. Socket 1 for the SNAIC 5 between SC and NAC72 and Socket 3, 4 or 5 (use 3 here) for connection to the NAP180 via SNAIC 4.

Sorry Richard but need further assistance. Got the Supercap 2 today and it came with three different burndys cables.

Which one is the supposed one to come with the original item?  I think is the 03 one but I can't seem to get it in easily.

While we're at it, could you please let me know what the other are? Not that I'm keeping it myself but I want to sell it on and need to know which one I should send with the box.

@Stu, I know that I don't need them to try it on my system. It working fine as Richard instructed.

Wow 3 Burndies!  Unfortunately it looks like whoever was selling may find themselves short of 3 Burndies sometime in the future.  As the others have correctly stated above, no Burndy comes with a Supercap.  It either comes with the pre-amp (NAC52, NAC252) or you purchase separately for say a SNAXO or Superline. Best get in touch with the seller and tell them they may have made a mistake...

p.s.  One looks like it might be a NAC552 Burndy!  Very strange!!

The guy who wants to sell it can't careless and just wants to free some space. As I said, he no longer uses Naim kit and this is all he has left apart from a Prefix which I will also try to sell it for him sometime. Guess I'll sell the whole lot separately and made him some extra dosh he wasn't expecting.

Does the supercap 2 make a difference for better? I know, off topic, but still curious since I have a lovely nac 72 too.

Just tried it for a couple of minutes to check if it was OK and no serious listening was done. It has been inside its box for quite some time now so probably a full week or more to warm up so its boxed again. 

Sorry for yet another query but will it power a 272 ??

You can't use Supercap with a 272, you need XPS2 for that or 555 power supply.
