Euro earthing.

Just a quick question, chaps.

I am about to purchase a Hydra for my system, terminated in a standard Euro Schuko plug (I'm in Poland). This will provide power to a CD5, a NAT05 tuner, a hi-cap/NAC72 and a NAP180.

I understand that the earthing for the system is through the CD5 CD player. However, will the tuner affect the earthing, causing a loop ?

IIRC from my Naim tuner days (albeit with a NAT 02) this didn't connect mains earth and signal ground so wouldn't cause issues when another Naim source (that doesn't have a ground lift switch) is in the system.

A quick email to Naim would confirm for sure.

James is correct.  The Naim CD player connects signal earth but not the tuner.

The NAT-05 earth connection is only to the case.

I had a NAT-05 & CDX2 & no problems,  now the NAT-05 is partnered with NDX with its ground lift switch on 'chassis',  again no problems.
