Unitiserve SSD

Am I right in thinking I can connect an external hard drive to a Naim Unitiserve SSD via the USB port, is this all I need to rip and store CD’s ?

You really need a folder that the Unitiserve can find on your network, which ideally means a NAS.

UnitiServe SSD USB ports are not designed for attaching large storage disks.

US SSD is designed to work on a home network - ripped and downloaded albums are stored on network-attached storage (NAS, computers).

This does work with the Core though I believe,but I have not done it that way with mine,as I have a SSD installed.
