Finally after buy nait xs2 ,yesterday I bought naim cd5si about £ 1300 in indonesia , i am not even use it still in box ..

now for the speaker , can I pair it with dynaudio excite x44 ?? I mean will it be underpower ??

I also try focal aria 936 and also chorus 726 , powered with teac class d amp , amazing for it size small but quite powerful..

any suggestion between them ??

First - yes the XS2 can power the Excite X44. I use the similarly powered Uniti Star to power my Dyn Focus 260s.

Focal vs Dynaudio - really comes down to your personal taste preference. I prefer Dynaudio but another may prefer Focal.

A couple of things pamzz,

Class D amplification, small for it's size and powerful, that's the whole point. That's why it's used in car audio systems, for example. Also used in many high-end audiophile systems where I've heard it sound very, very good, but not enough to make me give up quality Class A/B amplification for dedicated listening. In the end, D has a somewhat clinical and dry signature whereas AB has a little more warmth or vitality. Almost like the vinyl versus digital arguments.

As for speakers, the 936 and 726 should work well with your XS2. I've heard the 936 at dealer, no complaints on their performance for their price. If you can't hear a big difference between the two, the 726 would be the VFM choice. The X44 really increase the demand on the amp. Not only less sensitive, but more importantly 4-ohm speakers. Theoretically you'd lose bass command with the Dynaudios, but I've never heard them.

I formerly owned the Nait XS and now own 4-ohm speakers with a much more powerful amp. In my experience, I wouldn't try pairing the XS with X44 given their 4-ohm rating. Can it be done? Certainly as suggested above. Getting the most from your speakers? Doubt it, but maybe you're on an amplification upgrade path.
