552/500 relocation channel flip.....

Hi i moved my whole hi fi into another room ......... connected everything up great.........then I tweaked the balance and found that the speakers channels were flipped.... doh. I tried switching the din/xlr at the 552ps end - but that did not work..... (I think this because all the din sockets are fully wired for both channels - and the change over occurs in the plug pin wiring) It looks to me that the only solution is to switch the speaker cables......and of course you have guessed it i am running out of length cable doh (yes it is that trixy)........... Looking at the manual for the 500 seems to confirm my suspicions - left and right channels are as seen from behind............not the front argh....   I think I may need to move my stack a few inches to allow the cables to fit...... my fault entirely - I assumed L & R were as viewed from the front.
