Song Search in Naim App

Is there any way to search by individual songs in the Naim app?

What I am trying to accomplish, is finding the same piece as recorded by various classical guitarists - so I would be able to enter "Granada" or "Fugue in A minor" as a contains clause and see all the various versions on my server.

Unfortunately the naim app does not support real UPnP search. The only feature is filtering of a currently displayed list. So if your UPnP server delivers a list of all tracks you could filter this list by the keyword. But there are two problems: The list might become very huge so it might be too much for the app to handle, I guess. Also I did not find the filter function anymore when I looked for it some days ago. Maybe it only occurs in some lists but not in all? Or is this feature no longer offered?

As long as your server has track view enabled, you can then view this list in the UPnP input, and as it is alphabetical, either just scroll down it, or search it. For search you will need to drag the screen down to show the local search box at the top of the page.

If you have an android device you could use the Bubble UPnP app that supports UPnP search. Probably other apps offer this, too, but I do not know about this. But your UPnP server needs to support UPnP search as well. minimserver does. The synology media server does not.

I have Vortexbox running Logitech Media Server, and there is also another DLNA option as well. I will try to look when I get home and see what may or may not make sense to me based on the above recommendations. I have just south of 20,000 individual song titles on the box at present.
