ND555 and Roon

Two questions. Is there any way of getting the ‘Stream Info’ on the 555 screen, as was possible on NDS?

Also, if anyone has managed to add a network share for a Core, would they mind posting the format of the Network Path as a guide to a new user who has not yet managed to connect his Core (or his NAS) to Roon.

It does not appear to give any stream info when using Roon. You have to look at your Roon remote for that. I am sure it did before they updated it in 2.6 though but I could be imagining it. You should be able to use the same smb path you use to copy files to the core I believe if you want to add it as storage to Roon core. If your on Windows 10 then there is some issue with smb1 as they turned it off in the last major update. You can add it back again though. Sorry cant help any more than that as dont have a core.

Thanks for that. I don’t have a Core either. I’m inquiring on behalf of a Core owner who would never have copied a file to it and has limited IT experience.
