Powerline Lite

I've got a PL on loan from my dealer. He knows I'm a bit of sceptic ????

As per his advice I've put it on the Hicap first and then maybe try it on the nDAC. Me and the missus played a couple of tracks with my standard mains lead, swapped and then played the same tracks again. Well we were gobsmacked!  It's a kettle lead for Pete's sake????

I was expecting zero change or something so subtle that you'd have to keep swapping back and forth to detect anything. We did A-B and we were done, no doubts at all. Happy days. ????

Yep. Great Value for money. No brainer.

Really??

My powerline lite that came with my core sits in a box as I could tell NO difference with it at all...

I must have cloth ears ....either that or the CHC hydra cable I plugged the core into is easily as good...

I added mine to 200/HCDR/NAPSC. Maybe more noticeable on amplification and power supplies. I also wonder if the quality if mains supply makes a difference. The worse it is the better the improvement!

My dealer recommended pre then sources first. I'm plugging the PL Lite into a MCRU mains block. Mains is normal 2.5 dedicated feed with unchurched MK sockets.

I use chord power chords and found the biggest difference was on high current equipment so power amps and psu.

Have them on everything now though.

Amazingly when I had a napsc it made a notable difference too.
