Naim Salisbury - Open house

Posted by: Obsydian on 26 August 2018

I was thinking after reading the following article

 https://amp.theguardian.com/uk...-from-skripal-attack

If Naim could do some full on open house festival, maybe onsite, some low end systems, to the full statement vs a few famous singers.

Be good for the town and also demonstrate a home grown UK business, now global for sometime has remained true to it's roots.

Just a thought ...

Can't really comment the possibility of a future Naim open house festival, they did mention the town was planning other future events.......  but I do wish the people of Salisbury a successful art festival weekend to get people out and a show of unity to support the recovery effort from the nerve agent attack!

......it would be a hike to get there from Seattle but I will be there in spirit.

Back in August 2009, we had such an event for forum members, organised by Naim but instigated by an old (unfortunately now ex) member. A lovely meal and barbeque were laid on at a local pub, we had Phantom Limb and another young lady artist playing, the latter of whom's name I forget, but they were both great. We also had tours of the factory, Naim polo shorts marking the occasion, and goody bags. It was a great day!

I'd certainly be up for another similar event.

This would seem to be a great way for the incoming BIG cheese (when appointed) to meet some of his most loyal and valuable customers.

Great idea. Win/Win as they say in corporate speak.

I was thinking more beyond as forum get together, more a community like the one in the link and of course if a few Naimites wish to travel ????

New cheese ????
