hi been trying a AudioQuest Niagara 5000 low-Z Power Noise-Disapation system on my all Naim black boxes over the last week
propley get a lot of stick for this but it really does work
top end goes higher mid is smother and bass is really tight
they do 3 models the 1000, 5000, or 7000,
well worth giving it a try.
find I can turn the volume to 11 to 12 where I usually don’t go much pass 9.
Borrowed a meter from my dealer
plugged it into my sockets ( dedicated spur)
It read 459
then plugged AudioQuest into my sockets and plugged meter into AudioQuest it now reads 29.

What kind of meter - an E-Meter???
My dealer has these. Not heard one yet but may get a demo when I’m there next. Very Interesting if they work with Naim gear.

Interesting, an alternative to anzus products often recently cited. I think I have seen a review by Michael Fremer on it.

Not 100%sure what the meter is called I only had it for a few hours and other customers were promised it on the same day as me

I was going to ask the same question! Those readings are meaningless without knowing what it was measuring and the units, of measurement, so I suggest ask the dealer.
Was the music quieter so turned up to 10 or 11 to get to sound the same as it did before set to 9, or do you mean that at 9 it wasn’t as loud as you wanted but distorted if you turned higher, and now you can play tge music louder without distortion?

I have been using an AQ Niagara 1000 for close to a year now. My Supernait 2 and ND5 XS are plugged into it. It works great with Naim! It lowers the noise floor increasing details, without removing any of the drive or dynamics.
I am very happy with it!
Blimey.
Audioquest have seriously impressed me with their Dragon fly red DAC.
I hope to try one of thrse Niagara devices asap and report back.
Got Niagara 1000 last month and plugged the Nova. Same experience of Daniel H. Cleaner sound and no counter effects.
Yes, i am testing the new Audioquest storm powercord "Tornado" with my XP5XS/ NACn272 streamer, really amazing how it sounds, almost unbelievable, it looks like a system upgrade......My dealer asked me to test it in combination with the Audioquest 5000, but he warned me: if you test it, you will definitely buy it........
