Naim speakers can't connect to my Smart TV

Anyone who have tried connecting their Naim audio system to their smart tellys?

I can't seem to do it with my Decovue (has an android box in it).

Please help!

I connect my Panasonic to the 272 with a toslink cable and it’s fine. What connections do your TV and stereo have?

I use optical out of the tv to an optical in on my Nova and UC2. If you RCA out of the TV, that’s another option.

I also use an optical cable from my Sony TV to my 272 and it works fine.

I use TOSLINK optical cables from my Sony TVs into a Unitiqute 2 and an AV2.

I use the headphone out on my Sony to my 282 pre amp.

Hi Michael - It would help if you mentioned what Naim kit you had. The best way (as mentioned above) is optical via toslink but to do this you will need a Naim box that has digital inputs. It's difficult to find info on the audio output from your TV but i would assume it would have a standard toslink connector there somewhere to take the signal out. It will need to be set to stereo PCM (you should find that setting in the TV setup menu)
