Naim nap 300

hello everyone,

could you please confirm that both nap 300 and 300ps cabinet finishing/material/treatment is the same?

Would it be possible that ps300 seems to be rough rather than smooth?

They are both the same.

They should be the same finish and I would expect the two serial numbers to be quite close.

IIRC because of the nature of the process and finish there's a tolerance on the powder coated finish of the regular sleeves. As such, while both sleeves should be very similar in finish, there's always the possibility of getting a pair of sleeves at the opposite end of the tolerance.

If it's an issue then you should consult with your supplying dealer who can then take a view as to whether it's within acceptable limits or not. If it's an extreme difference then they can take it up with the factory to try to get a closer match for you.
