NDX 2 Arrived Today

Stone cold out of the box, but wow, just wow. A case where the sequel is better than the original.

Yes and no. I fly out on holiday tomorrow for a week and my wife is threatening divorce if I pick the new toy over her....

At least I have tonight and all day tomorrow.

Well I did check the airline hand baggage limit and the box is too big for the overhead locker.

Am in two minds about leaving on. First is risk of an electrical storm and other thought is that I quite enjoy the journey of something coming on song.

I replaced an NDX. A significant step up in performance even out of the box. The detail is exceptional. The performance is well balanced allowing every vocal and instrument to shine. Everything sounds incredible natural and am starting to forget this is a digital source and that is something I have not experienced before.

The wife is at work tomorrow and there are no neighbours to worry about, so will just be me and the hifi. Perfect day I hear you say.
