hi Guys

If using a Hicap on a Supernait2, I am right in thinking the hicap then powers the preamp and the existing power supply powers the internal amp only, is this correct?

Correct. However, remember that when you add the Hicap the pre-amp signal goes through it (thus keeping system and signal earths close together for best performance), so you need to connect a SNAIC4 from the Hicap signal out to the Supernait2 Power Amp IN in order to get the pre-amp signal to the power amp in the Supernait. Thus, to connect a Hicap to a Supernait 2 you need both a SNAIC 5 and a SNAIC 4.
