The importance of Timing for the Human Hearing Mind.!

Posted by: Peder on 26 September 2018

An interesting article, which presents that the human sense of hearing surpasses the ability that can be predicted from linear models.

For example,..you can consider how this implies limitations,or choice of such in terms of bandwidth and sampling frequency eg.In digital systems.

◾This article below is interesting, and I have judged that it is not commercial.
If I were to make the wrong judgement, Richard may remove it.
I added it in the Hifi corner, hope it's right.????????

Yes this has been posted several times...  Usually in response to the 'Bits are Bits' argument, people quoting xiph.org or claims the the Nyquist limit defines an absolute limit for the information processing of human hearing.

It's true that there is no universal mega clock ticking away that the universe sticks too.

That time and timing is relative.

I'm sure someday soon that some boffin will find concrete evidence of Quantum business working within our brains, minds, consciousness and maybe even the soul.
