Hi!
Today after a nice listening session, I realized that the right speaker channel of my Supernait 2 starts to give a "distortion buzz" through the speaker. It is really quite audible and after a while, it disappears. If I swap the speaker cables, the other speaker now on the right channel, the same occurs.
I attached two audio files.

I changed nothing in my set up and I cleaned all interconnects (plug/unplug) to no avail.
I have a FritzBox WLAN repeater next to the electricity sockets, but unplugging it does not kill the buzz.
It starts to buzz after about an hour of playing music, either through my TT or my Unity Core...then 10 minutes after the music finished, it disappears and all is quiet again...
The phenomena only started today...
Any helping idea?
Thank you,
Thorsten

Most odd... I can’t think of anything that is not an amp malfunctioning....
Possibly a cold solder starting to manifest itself in a pre-amp section?
Perhaps [@mention:36201736971392588] could offer some adivice, before you need to take it for servicing.

This is one of the most odd things I've ever heard.
So, if I read it right...
1 It's a mid to high frequency buzz
2 It never starts until an hour after you start playing music
3 It stops 10 minutes after the music stops.
4 It's independent of source in use (same buzz, same time)
A few additional questions...
A Does the start of the buzz correspond to the top of the case becoming warm?
B Does the time before the buzz starts depend on the volume?
C What speaker cables are you using, and what is the length?
D If you swap the speaker cables over (right to left) does it stay with the same speaker or move with the amp channel?
I must agree with Adam though, it may be a dry joint that becomes troublesome as the amp warms up (not necessarily in the preamp though!).

Thanks @all
I use 2 x 8m NACA 5.
The crackle stays in the right channel of the amp, meaning it moves to the connected speaker.
This morning I came to my living room and it was a campfire...LOL...really loud crackle. Went to my shop and the same there. They will look into it at MusicLine Germany and gave me an XS2.
I am speechless about how much better my system sounds now. That means that there is more wrong than just the right channel.
And to be honest, now that I think of it, my SN2 ran really really hot...huh... I told them this too. Let's see.
Unfortunately, the warranty ended on August 13th (5 years)...I was hoping NAIM would overlook that time period after spending 25000€+...It's just a bit more than a month...
