Delete a song from playlist

Posted by: v4vfr on 08 October 2018

My playlist is corrupted, shows couple songs with the red dot (x in the middle).

How can I remove the song from the playlist?

Any help is appreciate it.

Thanks,

Levi

Maybe it is worth identifying the device concerned?

(Not that I could help, having never used a playlist in my life! I always thought they were what DJs use for royalty purposes, otherwise for a party perhaps, though I understand some people use them almost as a way of creating custom genres, from which to select and play.)

If you tap on the red dot, you should get an option to delete the track. You should then be able to add the track to the playlist again.

I presume you are referring to playlists created on the Naim app. They have always been prone to corruption, and I find that creating them on the server, while less convenient, is a reliable alternative to doing it in the app.

Thank you for replying!

Unfortunately, nothing happens when I click on the red dot.

BTW: I have the Naim Mu-so system and I run the Naim app on a Samsung S9+ phone.

Thanks,

Levi

Maybe that’s an Android issue, on iOS devices I’ve always found that you can delete the track.

Here is a possible workaround solution: play the playlist. It will show as a play queue, with the corrupted tracks missing. Save this as a new playlist, then delete the old one. Then, if you want, you should be able to manually add the missing tracks to the new list.
