NDX2 Signal Ground

Just installing new NDX2. Powered by XPSDr and connecting to NAC282. CDX2 it replaced didnt have such a switch.

Signal Ground out of box is set to “Floating”. Is this correct for this configuration, or should it be set to “Default” ?

It needs to be on "Default"

The CDX2 has its signal grounded internally, that's what the NDX2 "Default" position does. If you still had the CDX2 installed the NDX2 would need to be set to "Floating" as only one signal ground is required.

Assuming that you no longer have a CD player or other signal grounded source connected to your 282 then I’d suggest setting the switch to “Default” on the presumption that this is equivalent to the “Chassis” setting on the legacy streamers.
