I have listened to a few proac models up to d48 with Naim amplification, although not the DT8. Of the speakers I've heard recently, I think Q Acoustics concept 500 is amazing value and a really good match for Naim. Focal kanta 2 is also a new favourite although out of my price range. I liked both of these more than the Proacs I heard.

Speakers are so individual that listening for yourself is a must. Treat any suggestions only as food for a shortlist.

Proac Tab 10 work very well with the 250dr

Anyone tried Linn Majik 109s with the 250 DR?

The Majik's forward-facing ports interest me, given my room layout puts one speaker slightly close to a corner and the other near a doorway (so not ideal for rear-ported speakers).

Hope to do a shop demo next week. Conveniently, the Linn and Naim dealers in Bangkok are right next to each other. Less conveniently, the Linn shop didn't seem thrilled with my suggestion of borrowing a pair of their speakers to try out next door...
