Best set up/connections - NAP200, NAC202. HiCap, Flatcap XS, 2*NAPSC, Superline, Headline, CD5 XS (A5 speaker cables into PMC GB1i's).

Am curious to know opinions on best set up / connections for the following:

NAP200, NAC202. HiCap, Flatcap XS, 2*NAPSC, Superline, Headline, CD5 XS (all non-DR & A5 speaker cables into PMC GB1i's).

Currently I have 1*NAPSC & HiCap powering 202 connected to the 200 (as per available Naim connection diagrams with a 1*4-4 pin & 1*5-5 pin cables).

Headline powered by 1*NAPSC with the hard wired Headline signal cable back to tape socket of 202 (though currently not working, help asked in this forum previously),

Flat Cap XS powering Superline from port B using signal D ouput to 202 with 4-5 pin cable. CD5XS with no power amp just 5-5 pin signal connection to 200.

Is there a better way? And what additional cables would be required? e.g. use HiCap to power Superline, Flatcap to power 202 & CD5 XS. Grateful for opinions.

(from previous topic, probably go for HiCap for Stageline then 282 then 250 when funds allow).

You might want to compare powering the Superline off the AUX2 of the NAC202 (powered by Hicap) against powering from the Flatcap2xs.  If you prefer the AUX2 then  stick the Flatcap 2xs on the CD5xs. Of course, you could have the FC2xs on both anyway, but it may well impact on both compared to being dedicated to just one. It will come down to source priorities.  And when you get the Hicap, put it straight on the Superline, and the FC2xs on the CD5xs.

Oh yes, just a reminder - make sure the pre-amp signal connection to the NAP200 is taken from the Hicap powering the NAC202 and not the NAC202 itself.  The Hicap is the absolute system earth reference so the signal needs to run through it to keep signal and system earths close.

That's pretty close to the solution I settled on when I had a flatcap (2x) and a hicap but with 282/250. The AUX was preferable to the FC on the superline and the FC was best just powering my CD5x and nothing else, I think I tried all the possible permutations.
