Play all tracks from a genre using Asset UPnP and Naim app

I am struggling to figure out how to play all tracks from a genre. This sounds like it should be simple…

I am using Asset UPnP on macos, Naim NAC-N 272 and Naim iOS control app.

So I choose Genre > Classical > Album > [All Albums] > [Shuffle Tracks]

I’m then presented with a list of shuffled tracks (great). However, if I play a track it only plays that track and then stops. How do I make it play all tracks in the list?

I also tried going to Genre > Classical > Titles > [All Titles] and I get the same result.

Choose Genre from the top level. Press and hold the genre you want, a menu pops up, and then select play. This will load the first 500 tracks for that genre, and then you can put this on random.

i’m assuming It’s the first 500 and not a random 500.

So easy, after all!  Thanks very much for the information.

Great, I didn’t  know that either. The days of Help files to help you use apps seem to have passed.

If you have more than 500 tracks, do this with the remote control/front panel display instead of the Naim app. Then you bypass the 500 track limit, and play the whole lot.

Thanks, Chris! (Not that I've ever played anything by genre.)
