Today me and my wife went to my favorite hifi shop and hear if we would be in the market updating oue Superuniti. Well first one was Athom nice for such a small box but for sure no update virus yet. So nexst step we toke was the Nova. Nice looks and good sound but still not the risk of the virus. Then the owner of the shop said wait a few minutes i will set something up. Set up was 272 and 250 DR and the Piega 511 speakers. I put some music on from a usb stick brought frome home and me and my wife sat down again and the music started playing and she was smiling to me and said this is it. I know Piega as nice speakers but th 511 is something special. So now we have to think about it. Because for sure its outside our budget but the sound . Have to have. Anybody have experience with Piega 511? Greetings from rainy Holland

If you’re considering the N272 I would seriously recommend buying gently pre-owned. It’s a few years into its lifecycle and the last of the prior generation Naim streamer players. A wonderful unit, but not scarce on the pre-owned market. Take the discount '

Piega and Naim do sound nice, very nice speakers. Did you listen to them with Nova? Maybe the same as 272/250, but not bad

Goodmorning Stigo,

for me Naim and Piega are a strange combination and never ever thought about this. I own Sonus Faber speakers so i was thinking more in the line of Sonus Faber of Focal Kanta. The Piega are more expensive but there now om my list. I lisend the Piega with 272/250. There are not many reviews about the Piega 511 or 711. But the few tests there are about this speakers says good things. The ribbon tweeter is really very good . I am very suprised about the Piega 511.

I previously owned Piega C8 ltd speakers driven by naim52 /135s in very large room. I enjoyed them but in retrospect the 135s couldn’t drive them properly in my room.  I’ve since replaced them with Focal 1038s which work much better in my room.  The Focal’s are more efficient and thus easier to drive.  Hope that helps- I know nothing about the 511s. I checked out Piega website- so many models to choose from!
