Just ordered some Totems

After auditioning speakers several speakers at the weekend
ProAc D20R
PMC 25 23
Spendor A7
Totem Sky towers
I have now placed an order for some Sky towers. I have never heard Totem stuff before and was totally amazed and blown away by the sound quality of these speakers and were without doubt by far the best sonically out of all those I tested!
Not a brand I would of Evan thought of had my nearest dealer not been a stockist but would advise anyone to have a listen if they are considering any of the above.
???? Popeye,....I've never heard Totem,..but just heard good reviews about them...so congratulations.!
People I trust, say that Totem Dreamcatcher are fantastic to previous Unitiqute2.

Well, what a result. Congratulations. It's great when ones ears deliver such a clear message as to the way to go. I demoed a bunch of speakers in the same price bracket to partner my own SN2, and made a shortlist based on reviews and recommendations. Despite all of them being highly regarded, I was genuinely staggered by the difference in performance and character between them all. However, as you found, there was a clear winner, and in my case it wasn't any of the speakers I actually set out to listen to. Nor the most expensive of the bunch by quite a margin. Enjoy!
Congratulations! I was very impressed by Totem Acoustics‘s demos at the Munich show and by their speakers. Loved the bit where Vince wiggles a speaker in different directions to show how it makes absolutely no difference to the sound. A revelation to an SL2 owner.
Congratulations. I've been wondering what the Totem Tribe Towers would sound like with my SN2. Probably worth an audition!

Hi Daniel
I also auditioned the tribe towers at the same time. Sound is almost identical to the Sky towers but the tribe Tower is a much smaller slender speaker so incredibly impressive that they could go just as low as the Sky’s. tweeter is the same and there was genuinely no audible difference between the two. If blindfolded you wouldn’t be able to tell which was which.
Congratulations on your new speakers, I replaced my Spendor A5s with Totem Dreamcatchers and am very happy.
Enjoy !
Congratulations on your new speakers, I have the SKY stand mounts and absolutely love them, I am sure you will not be disappointed when you get them home.

Nice. I do like Totem with Naim. There seems to be a synergy between the two brands.

Thank you for the information! If the Sky and Tribe sound the same, it sounds like one is paying a hefty premium for the smaller footprint of the Tribe Tower.
I really enjoyed the time I spent home demoing Sky stand mounts with my Nait XS 2. I now have a pair of Buchardt S400s on order. Once I receive them I'll have 30 days to decide if I keep them or not. If for some reason I decide to return them chances are I'd end my search with the Skys.
Congrats on your new Totem speakers.
i've been using Totems for quite a few years now,i had the original Forests and now have the Forest Signatures.
very unassuming speakers that blend into most living spaces, females love their looks!.
I had for five years Totem Sttafs with Naim gear. The Sky Towers are (presumably) the updated version of Sttafs. Totems love power and my Sttafs got better the more power I threw at them. Wasn't until I got a 200-Watt Plinius integrated that they truly sang.
I found the Proac D20R to be a readily superior speaker when I had them home. Tighter bass and much better midrange coherence, especially as volume increased; the Sttafs tended to fall apart. The Sky Towers must be quite an improvement, but I've yet to hear them. Hope I get a chance.

Correct, they are the replacement for the Staffs that we’re going for 20-30years I believe and only just reformed to make the new Sky towers. I can’t comment on the Staffs as I haven’t heard them but the Sky towers were certainly a more complete compelling speaker than the ProAcs.
I also listened to the Sky towers with a new NDX2, Supernait2, Hicap DR and a XPS Dr to see if the Sky’s could deliver and my word did they!
onwards and upwards!
happy listening
Well done. I have Forest Signatures on ,y main system and Hawks on the second. Lovely speakers, very natural and unassuming, great soundstage and very aesthetic. Speakers for life for me. Have fun running them in, which, unfortunately, will take a long time - but worth the effort.
Love Totems too with Naim. Had Hawks then Forests but ended up moving over to PMC 25.23s...love them!!
