UnitiQute and NAP 200

Posted by: patoperro on 13 November 2018

I am using my Qute as a preamp for the NAP 200. Should the Signal Ground switch be set to floating or chassis?

Thanks,
Pato

If it has no other sources connected, use Chassis.

If I were to connect a phonograph to the Qute, should I then set it to floating? That's the only other component I'm considering adding.

Yes, that’s right. But you can try both to see if you hear a difference.

That was not the case when I had my old TT (phono).   The signal is not grounded & therefore Chassis was correct.  The phono amp itself had no earth (power) connection.    The only earth grounded connection that I had was the arm (the tube & the bearing head).  I ssumed that was the case with all TT/phono
