iPhone to naimuniti through usb

I’m streaming usb music stored on my iPhone to a naimuniti ( first model) using the usb front input. It works! How to stream from an app like soundcloud or amazon music using the usb connection ?

Non-Apple apps often won’t play into the USB input. If you start playing something from iTunes, then switch to the app that you want, that usually fools the phone into continuing to play through the USB.

No, I believe it’s iOS only. The easy option if you want to do this would be a Chromecast Audio into the optical input on the back of your Uniti.
