Purely out of interest is the 552 PS a Supercap derivative?

Lindsay, while there appear to be certain similarities, the 552PS is a bit different - it's split rail, for a start, which, according to Naim, "almost eliminates power supply noise in the signal earth".

Ah, that technicality. I share your pain Strat, though both of us are incredibly fortunate to enjoy what we have.

Apart from the wibbly wobbly speaker feet ( a techical term, you understand), my next upgrade became a set of winter wheels & tyres for the car...

Delighted to enjoy what we have today though for music.

p.s. Saw Rick Wakeman on tour last night. Now there’s a gentleman genius.
