The End of the Innocence
Because I just luv this Don Henley album on so many levels, it's never very far from being dragged out of the library. It's thirty years young this year, where do those years fly to?!...
Sonny Stitt & Hank Jones - The complete original quartet recordings
Personnel:
Sonny Stitt (as, ts), Hank Jones (p), Tommy Potter, Wendell Marshall (b), Shadow Wilson, Roy Haynes (d)
CSN&Y - Déjà Vu
I guess there will be others playing this (CD) over the next day or so...
Listening to that CTI box earlier, reminded me just how good Deodato can be. Thus I'm playing this 1978 Warner Bros LP:
Nadine Shah - Fast Food
She is a recent discovery for me. I particularly like the track Duvided from this album. A very theatrical delivery.
Cheers
Whoops a typo. I meant Divided.
Dexter Gordon & Benny Bailey quintet - Revelation

Peter Gabriel
Aaron Pollock.
A recent discovery. The latest release by The Marcus King Band. "Carolina Confessions"
Eagles - Live
Johannes Schenck wrote excellent compositions for the viola da gamba, a very underrated composer IMHO
The Recondita Armonia Ensemble are refreshing and vibrant performers, super emotive with slower pieces but choppy to the point of some sharp edginess when the tempo gets rapid. A very enjoyable CD : )
Debs
John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band - Live Peace In Toronto1969
