On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.

Hi Ian,
As you'd expect from Mike and his gang it is a live party and great fun too. Most of the material is from Original Pirate Material, his best imo. Listening on tidal and it should be out on CD soon although I cannot see it anywhere yet.
He will be touring in 2019 and apparently doing Glasto as well, so watch out.
Have a great new year as well, Ian, and keep on playing those great records of yours.
ATB,
Tony

I agree TC. A personal favourite compilation back in the day and one that was usually on call for any kit demos. I haven't played my copy for a good many years though, so a nice reminder to dig it out and give it a clean and a play.
Thanks to you both, I’ve just ordered the CD via discog. In 2010 Amber Rose did the same pose. Not clear whether it was a composite image.

John Martyn - Piece By Piece
On vinyl. With the possible exception of the excruciatingly bad John Wayne, played at a suitably low volume this record is almost dinner jazz.
2005 - Tidal...
My second favourite album after Downward Spiral.
(1991)
The Sky Is Crying
Because I don't like to let more than a couple of months pass by without listening to something by Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Two and a half hours' worth of late '69 Floyd (all outtakes etc from the Zabriskie Point sessions). Bliss!
Having an evening of Motopsycho
The Rolling Stones - Beggars Banquet, on SACD
Playing on Vinyl - Superb Blues from the late Garry B.B. Coleman.

Great selection Tony
I didn't get to see the band live but Original Pirate Material got lots of play in our house at that time it got played to death. Blinded by the Lights from the second LP is my favourite Streets track it is one of the best descriptions of taking ecstasy that I've ever heard or read anywhere an absolute classic.
Victory - The Broken Instrument
Because it is so good!
Bebel Gilberto - Tanto Tempo.
Fish, A Parley With Angels EP.
Played this earlier and really enjoyed Waverley Steps, it's a cracking track.
Earth Meet World, Earth To World.
This is a new band to me, I had a couple of tracks recommended to me and really enjoyed them. I have downloaded their output from Bandcamp and I am looking forward to playing them all.
After listening to a fair bit of Natalie Merchant today I thought I'd select a bit of Bowie next. This album passes muster.
Tidal. Stacey Kent - Dreamer in Concert
