On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Leftfield, Leftism.
The one time of the year I can play this late at a silly volume and no one complains YAY.
Recent purchase after hearing it on Spotify
Olafur Arnalds - Re:member
A reflective piece of music to start 2019. Goes well with the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs ????
Janelle Monae - Dirty Computer
A great 2018 release.
Cheers
Kivk the New Year off with this vinyl gem from 1966. ????
Madness on BBC1. Best thing I have seen for years!
Hootenanny New Year's Eve BBC2- Jools Holland, brilliant, best ever, and I haven't touched a drop, honest?
Don't care if it was recorded, it seemed spontaneous to me after a couple of single malts - d'oh!
Stand out performances - well all of them!
Great cd, kind of reminds me of the Moody Blues.
Royal Albert Hall Concert Live March 2010.

First album of 2019.
Happy New Year ????????????

Happy New Year to you all.
One of the very best unsung records of the 1980's. Berwald went on to do a number of other very fine records.
Simple Minds
Glittering Prize 81/92 - CD Rip
Edward
The 2011 master, on CD. Fancied starting 2019 with a bit of "Echoes".

Funny I have just ordered David Baerwald's Here Comes The New Folk Underground.
As you probably know his album Triage is one of great (unsung) albums of the 90's.
First one this year - Lovely !!!
