Is this what we pay our BBC LICENCE FEE FOR?

Its funny that the program listings come out at the same time as the new Remaster box sets?????????

Who is linked up at the BBC WITH THE FLOYD??????

You cant get better PR than this.

Dont get me wrong,I love everything PINK FLOYD.

Something begs here big time imo?PAYOLA.

Seen it all, seen it all before - Kevin Coyne from Dynamite Daze

Pink Floyd were a fine band, but the BBC seem to be rotating the same old footage just as and the remaining members of PF seem to rotate the same old albums. The albums are always in print and very east to obtain for anybody who hasn't already got them.

I just want something new from the BBC - what next a documentary about Hawkwind without Dave Brock - oh no they did that, what was that all about?

The Beeb does have archive footage of all kinds of wonderful music so why not dig a little deeper and show us something we haven't seen so many times before.

Is it too much to hope for the Steeleye Span Story or Tales of the Talking Heads or a programme about those four lads who shook the Wirral.

Or specially for Stu, Manilow evening.

Nonetheless many thanks for the heads up and sincerely hope Everton have a good season.

More to the point, why can't the Beeb show us archive footage WITHOUT;

So-called informative speech bubbles (which are often wrong and/or badly researched) superimposed over it - or

So-called informative presenters (who are often badly researched too) talking over the top of it.

What's wrong with just showing us the old programmes as they were broadcast?
