When naim release the NDS3 and ND555 ?

Next I hope but who can say? I suppose HDS isn't out of the question but I think this will be of less interest than the N because because bit perfect rips are bit perfect rips and a server is a server. I and others have these facilities already. Now I want a kick ass streamer. Or at least more kick ass that what's on the rack now. Is this possible? I expect so and I am confident that work is in progress.

Are there any more gaps below X level that can have a DAC/streamer or server hammered into them? I think there are but the product range is already heaving with solutions. Time for a statement streamer - old school, no compromise Naim. But I would say that wouldn't I? And of course, I it will have to sound blinding. Who's to say that what's now available isn't as good as it can get? Hope not.

I was thinking in terms of a streamer which will go with existing nDAC/555PS because as we know, not all dig outs are equal. As you say, could be a big ask. But the permutations are also interesting. If it's a one box DAC + streamer dishing up at a higher level than currently available separates I expect it will still be PS upgradable, as is the CDS3 and CD555. Then maybe an higher DAC still? Not so sure about that.  I know everyone is rooting for their favorite to be next out of the pipe. Past these shorter term tennis matches the next five years is going to be very interesting.
