Unable to get cover art into the file (XLD)

Dear naim users,

Main question is: In the end, I see the .wav music files on my iPod touch and the NAS, but without the cover art. How to solve this problem?

I am a proud owner of a NAIM UnityQute. For the UnityQute I bought a Synology DS211+ and rip with a program named XLD to .wav. I have the output on "default".

Before I rip the CD on to the hard drive of my server, I see via CDBB the nice cover art, the album, track name and artist. All good. Then I start ripping. Once I finalized the ripping of the cd, the music files show up on my NAS. However, these files do not show the cover art (even though I did have a cover art before the ripping took off) that was shown in XLD.

What am I doing wrong here? Appreciate your reply. Regards, Giliam

The presence of cover art is entirely dependent on whether XLD created "folder.jpg" cover art images within the NAS folder structure, and is also tied to the settings on your NAS for UPnP services.

Dear David,

Appreciate the advice. Still haven't quite figured out why XLD is not directly copying the cover art in the folder but your idea about the NAS was correct. If I paste in a photo, I see it on my iPod touch now (after adjusting some items on my NAS). Thanks. Giliam
