I need some help finding a LP for a friend.

Posted by: Gale 401 on 20 September 2011

I  wont go into details and i know buying and selling is not aloud on here.

But if anyone can help finding and pointing me in the direction of where i might find a vinyl copy of the late 70s Duffo album ,the one of him that had a plastic breast stiched onto his chest on the cover and the track Give me back me brain on it.

I dont think the album was ever put out on CD?

I have looked in all the normal places with no luck and need it before the end of next week.

If anyone can help?It would be brilliant.

Check this link out http://www.discogs.com/sell/li...id=1859873&ev=rb

There is a seller listing the album with, I believe the cover you require.

At least someone else has heard of this guy. I've had this album since 1979...

Stu

Sorry about that...I thought this was the original artwork, unless someone censored something back in '79.

I bought this album when it first came out (bega5 catalogue number) and I have a feeling that I actually went to see him in concert, so I would assume that the artwork is "original". On the reverse of the sleeve there is another tricked up photo of duffo, partially clad in plastic, with airbrushed "cracks" across his torso (but no nipple).

I only mention this as I am hardly a "duff-expert", but have never seen the sleeve design to which you have referred.

OK, sorry. There were copies there but none with the right cover, I suppose?

I have bought two copies that are meant to be mint condition, only because they were cheap and its a great fun music  album from my youth..

I wanted the original album artwork cover more than the record for a family friend who has just started her first year at uni in London.

Thanks again for all the help.

Stu.
