Olympus Pen cameras

Any thoughts from users of any of the new Pen series cameras?

I have a longstanding affection for Olympus, an OM4Ti was my faithful companion for many years and now have a Olympus DSLR plus a couple of Zuiko lenses.

I'm tempted by the look/size and simplicity of the PENs but have not actually picked one up and had a go yet-or really thought if my full size lenses would work OK with the adapter or I'd be starting over.

I don't need a built-in flash really (or movie capability). In general my cameras get stuffed into rucsacs and have to take a bit of abuse. I like some user control but find that more and more I trust the electronics on my DSLR where I'd previously be doing all sorts of exposure tweaking etc. It is a good camera but bulky.

As ever, depends what you want it for but from what you describe, they should fit the bill for the most part

Reviews I've seen have genrally been positive and they feel nice in the hand and look smart

I still prefer my Canon S95 (about to be replaced by the virtual identikit S100) as it's able to be operated fully manually, fits in my jeans pocket and picture quality is excellent

If I wanted something bigger (!?) but not DSLR though I'd be looking at the Pens or the new Fuji X10 maybe?
